Ek Zuban is an independent publisher and literature development agency based in The Tees Valley, run by Bob Beagrie and Andy Willoughby.

Ek Zuban means One Voice in Urdu, and we publish the tri-yearly free magazine KENAZ which showcases creative writing, graphics and illustration from writers and artists in Tees Valley.

Ek Zuban also publishes contemporary poetry from North East England and South West Finland in bi-lingual publications.

We run a programme of live literature, spoken word and music events at venues like Sams's Place, Sassari, and University of Teesside.

We also run creative educational and arts projects in schools and with community groups, and also mentor new writers from the area.
